PUBLIC MEETING NOTICE
The Council of the Resort Municipality invites residents and interested parties to a public meeting on Tuesday, October 13, 2026, at 6:30 p.m., at the Cavendish Visitor Information Centre (7591 Cawnpore Lane). The purpose of the meeting is to provide the public with an opportunity to review and comment on ALL of the items listed below:
1) The 2026 Sommo Festival After Action Event – Whitecap Entertainment Inc.:
The meeting will allow the public to hear from the Resort Municipality, Music Festival organizers, RCMP, Provincial Fire Marshal’s Office, Department of Health and Wellness and the Liquor Control Commission on the 2025 event. The public will be allowed to ask questions and provide feedback to the municipality and organizations and address any concerns they may have.
If you are unable to attend the public meeting in person, written comments will be accepted until October 14, 2026.
